Salt Not Affect Heart Health
Reduce salt intake was not able to reduce the risk of heart disease. This of course contradicts the general health guidelines plural socialized into society.
Reducing salt intake in the diet in the general population is found not to impact overall health positively. Reducing salt also does not reduce a person’s risk of heart disease. It was revealed in a review of more than 160 scientific studies have been published some time ago. In his analysis of a series of major health effects of salt, the researchers wrote in the American Journal of Hypertension and the Cochrane Library journal.
The systematic review adds new evidence that the more that show that health officials should re-evaluate policies that recommend everyone to eat less salt.
This review, prepared and analyzed findings from 167 previous studies, found that while reducing the salt to lower blood pressure in people who have normal or high blood pressure, it will also cause an increase in some hormones and other compounds that can affect a person’s heart health.
